About the RoleUnity Health Network, part of Optum and UnitedHealth Group, is seeking a Medical Assistant to support its Primary Care practice in Hudson. You'll work alongside physicians, advanced practice clinicians, and front-office and clinical staff to support patient care and day-to-day clinical operations.
Location: 231 Seasons Rd, Suite 300, Hudson, OH 44224
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM

Key Responsibilities
- Perform clinical intake, including taking and recording vital signs and patient history.
- Schedule appointments, complete prior authorizations, process medication refills, coordinate referrals, and answer patient calls.
- Assist patients with walking, transfers, specimen collection, and exam preparation.
- Support providers with minor in-office procedures and perform point-of-care testing.
- Clean exam and procedure rooms, instruments, and equipment between patient visits to maintain infection control.
- Maintain clinical supplies and equipment and ensure proper storage of biohazards.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or completion of an equivalent adult education program.
- Active Medical Assistant Certification.
- CPR and/or BLS certification.
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ years of Medical Assistant experience with electronic medical records software.
- Experience performing medical back-office tasks, including obtaining vital signs, injections/immunizations, phlebotomy, urinalysis, and administering medications.
- Experience performing medical front-office tasks, including scheduling appointments, prior authorizations, medication refills, and referrals.
Compensation & BenefitsPay Range: $16.00-$29.00 per hour based on full-time employment.
