Responsibilities:



  • Enhances the guest experience by providing exceptional service.
  • Services assigned rooms according to departmental specifications, within allotted time.
  • Documents room status on assignment sheets.
  • Greets guests passing in corridors, establishing eye contact.
  • Ensures that equipment in guestrooms is operational - TV, remote control, phones, lights, etc.
  • Uses cleaning chemicals as instructed.
  • Uses safety equipment as required.
  • Communicates all maintenance issues to supervisor.
  • Executes Daily Cleaning Projects.
  • Secures master keys while working.
  • Collects/secures lost-and-found articles.
  • Restocks housekeeping cart daily.
  • Controls inventory of supplies.
  • Makes suggestions for improvements in overall operations with emphasis on increasing guest satisfaction, revenues as well as reducing costs.
  • Establishes and maintains close working relationships with all employees to ensure maximum cooperation, productivity, morale and guest service.
  • Resolves guest issues.
  • Adheres to department and property policies and procedures.


      Working Conditions:



      • Mostly indoors and generally climate-controlled environment
      • Will be exposed to noise, smoke, and odors
      • Working with others and independently


      Target Hourly Range: ($21.60)

      Qualifications
      Experience
      Must secure appropriate RI mandated gaming license (preferred)
      Constantly use mental alertness to achieve high level of accuracy in completing tasks. (preferred)
      Constantly plan, follow directions, read, write, use math, discriminate colors, work at various tempos or work rapidly, concentrate, remember, attention to and observe details, use of ten key and personal computer. (preferred)
      Constantly use physical movements necessary for general office duties: standing, walking, balancing, eye-hand coordination, finger dexterity, handling, wrist motion, sitting, reaching, carrying, vision, hearing, stooping, and twisting. (preferred)
      Ability to work a flexible schedule. (preferred)
      Good judgment and common sense. (preferred)
      High energy level. (preferred)
      High school diploma or GED. (preferred)
