About the RoleAtrius Health, part of the Optum family of businesses, is seeking a Radiology Technologist to join its Kenmore Radiology team. In this role, you will perform a variety of routine and specialized radiographic procedures while ensuring exceptional image quality, patient safety, and compassionate care across diverse patient populations. This position offers the opportunity to work with an experienced multidisciplinary healthcare team in a collaborative, patient-centered environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform standard and specialized radiographic examinations using established protocols and best practices.
- Validate clinical information, obtain patient histories, and produce high-quality diagnostic images using the lowest appropriate radiation dose.
- Apply expertise in anatomy, physiology, patient positioning, radiation physics, and radiation safety.
- Support patient comfort, wellbeing, privacy, and confidentiality throughout the imaging process.
- Communicate effectively with patients, radiologists, providers, and other healthcare team members.
- Identify and report equipment issues promptly and assist with additional departmental responsibilities as needed.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED, HiSET, TASC, or equivalent).
- Graduate of an accredited radiography program.
- Registry eligible.
- Current Massachusetts Radiologic Technologist license.
- CEU documentation required for licensure.
Preferred Qualifications
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), if required by specialty.
- 1+ years of experience as a Radiology Technologist.
- Knowledge of Computed Radiography, Digital Radiography, Epic, Synapse, Pacsgear, scheduling exams, and telephone support functions.
Compensation & Benefits
Pay Range: $23.41 to $41.83 per hour

Schedule Options
- Full-time, 40 hours/week: Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and/or Sunday plus 1-2 additional weekdays, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
- Full-time, 40 hours/week: Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM
- Four 10-hour shifts Monday through Friday (flexible days)
