Wieland is hiring a Maintenance Planner. The Maintenance Planner will be responsible for creating high-quality plans that have the information required to efficiently execute the work required to protect the inherent reliability of the equipment. Manage repetitive tasks required to maintain equipment and departmental systems. Utilize input provided by internal and external resources to relentlessly drive improvements in safety, efficiency, and effectiveness. This role is located in Cupping and will be fully on-site.

Base Salary Range: $96,000- $120,000

May be eligible for a variable compensation plan bonus based upon company performance within fiscal year cycle.

Responsibilities

Maintenance Planner Responsibilities:

    Maximizing equipment reliability and availability through the use of effective maintenance planning and scheduling practices. Steadily acquires knowledge of plant CMMS system to record executable job plans for repetitive use. Additionally, able to use CMMS to identify possible improvements to equipment in area of responsibility.
  • Prioritizes work based on safety, reliability, and production impact, and cost.
  • Tracks and reports key maintenance KPIs such as schedule compliance, backlog, PM Compliance, and PM effectiveness.
  • Plans, schedules and coordinates maintenance jobs and projects including identification of necessary parts, personnel and outside resources. Job Plans are methodically executable, enabling supervisors to readily identify assets required to successfully meet time expectations for completion of job as defined.
  • Develops and implements predictive and preventative maintenance scheduling to optimize equipment operation. Capable of writing PM plans that have specific inspection expectations that enable identification of minor adjustments and/or when additional corrective action is required.
  • Work directly with production and maintenance personnel to isolate and repair equipment problems.
  • Supports and encourages employee involvement in continuous improvement activities including Safety Excellence, Lean Manufacturing, TPM, and Maintenance Excellence activities.
  • Ability to assess and include safety considerations in job plans.
  • Assist with critical breakdowns by sourcing parts and coordinating with outside resources as necessary.
  • Provide vacation coverage for Hybrid Supervisors.

Maintenance Planner Qualifications:

  • Technical degree (Bachelor's degree preferred).
  • 3+ years' maintenance supervision experience.
  • Strong communications and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
  • CMMS experience required. SAP experience a plus.
