Overview

The Manager, Talent Management will play a key role in advancing Alnylam's employee listening efforts and supporting the development of our leadership assessment capabilities. This individual will lead the execution and reporting of enterprise listening initiatives and support the launch and administration of leadership assessments, helping ensure informed talent decisions.

This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about translating data into meaningful insight to drive organizational change. As part of the Talent Management team, this individual will partner closely with the Director of Talent Management, People Experience team, and HR Business Partners to strengthen organizational health through high-quality surveys, assessments, and measurement practices.

Key Responsibilities

Employee Listening & Engagement

  • Lead the execution of Alnylam's enterprise engagement and listening strategy, including annual surveys, pulse surveys, and targeted listening efforts.
  • Support survey design, vendor partnerships, and reporting to ensure high-quality insights and analytics.
  • Translate quantitative and qualitative data into clear, actionable insights that shape enterprise, function, and team-level priorities.

Leadership Assessment & Effectiveness

  • Support the rollout and integration of Alnylam's leadership competency model, including building awareness and understanding across the organization and helping embed the model into talent processes and programs.
  • Contribute to establishing foundational processes and best practices for leadership assessment at Alnylam.
  • Support the launch and administration of leadership assessment initiatives, beginning with 360-degree feedback and Hogan (or similar) assessments.
  • Manage assessment logistics, vendor coordination, participant communications, timelines, and data integrity to ensure a smooth and professional experience.

Broader Talent Management Initiatives

  • Contribute to the continued evolution of core Talent Management processes such as performance management, talent reviews, and succession planning.
  • Support the preparation of talent insights and materials used in talent planning discussions with senior leaders.
  • Help evolve scalable tools, frameworks, and processes that strengthen Alnylam's talent management practices.

Process & Project Management

  • Manage project plans, timelines, and stakeholder communications across talent management initiatives.
  • Partner with HRIS to ensure systems effectively support surveys, assessments, and talent processes.
  • Collaborate with the People Analytics team to align on reporting standards, data governance, and broader talent insights.
  • Maintain documentation and process standards to ensure consistency, scalability, and operational excellence.

Qualifications

  • Advanced degree (Master's or PhD) in Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Organizational Behavior, HR, or related field.
  • 2-4+ years of experience in Talent Management, Organizational Development, Employee Engagement, or HR Analytics.
  • Demonstrated expertise in psychometrics, including assessment design, validation methods, reliability analysis, and interpretation of psychological instruments.
  • Hands-on experience administering and interpreting 360-degree feedback tools and personality-based assessments (e.g., Hogan or similar).
  • Ability to synthesize complex assessment and survey data into clear, executive-ready insights.
  • Experience collaborating cross-functionally, including partnership with analytics teams.
  • Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with analytics/visualization tools (e.g., PowerBI, Tableau).
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.

U.S. Pay Range

$119,000.00 - $161,000.00

The pay range reflects the full-time base salary range we expect to pay for this role at the time of posting. Base pay will be determined based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, skills, and education. This role is eligible for an annual short-term incentive award (e.g., bonus or sales incentive) and an annual long-term incentive award (e.g., equity).
