Wieland is hiring a Supply Chain Analyst. The Supply Chain Analyst plays a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the data that drives key supply chain and operational processes. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with strong analytical skills and expertise in SAP and master data management who will be instrumental in achieving operational excellence by coordinating and maintaining data pertaining to the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process; booking orders in production facilities while strictly adhering to the capacities defined by the Operations team; and maintaining accurate master data records in SAP, including but not limited to Materials, Bills of Materials (BOMs), and Routings. This role is located in East Alton, Illinois, and will be fully on-site.

Base Salary Range: $74,000- $84,000 annually

May be eligible for a variable compensation plan bonus based upon company performance within fiscal year cycle.

Responsibilities

Supply Chain Analyst Responsibilities:

    Working with Sales & Marketing, develop a regular business process cadence to ensure balance of demand to supply at each facility to support overall service goals (on time performance, inventory turns, etc.) Active participant in weekly and monthly Sales & Operations planning cycles.
  • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on the Company Planner Software. Utilize this tool for Capacity Planning along with cross-functional work between Operations, Sales & Supply Chain to deliver upon defined targets and hit BU RR performance goals.
  • Record Management within SAP. Clear records in the SAP system daily for potential failures in the order booking process, Lot Size deviations, Capacity Checks, Prematerial Checks, etc.
  • Effectively create and maintain master data within the SAP system, which includes but is not limited to Routings, Bill of Materials, and Materials within the system.
  • Work within the Material Master (MM) and Production Planning (PP) teams within the BU RR and act as a support / key resource for future implementations of Wieland ERP Systems.
  • Develop and generate reports to track the performance of BU RR against defined KPIs.

Supply Chain Analyst Qualifications:

  • Degree in Business, Engineering, or related field with a minimum of 3-5 years of experience or equivalent manufacturing planning or supervision experience. A bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • Demonstrated ERP experience (SAP) preferred.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and product flow in an industrial format is desired.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills with hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • APICS certification and/or Lean/Pull System training strongly recommended.
