Loan Analyst are responsible for managing a variety of preclosing activities for moderately complex commercial, leasing, and working capital loans. This role coordinates all aspects of the loan closing process, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and exceptional customer experience. The ideal candidate is detail oriented, highly organized, and comfortable working in a fast paced environment with evolving products and priorities.

For all hires in the Minneapolis or Washington, D.C. area, you will be required to work in the office a minimum of four days per week.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Lead and coordinate pre closing activities for commercial, leasing, and working capital loans, partnering closely with customers, underwriters, loan officers, and the sales team
  • Ensure all banking regulations, compliance requirements, internal policies, and departmental SLAs are consistently met
  • Manage multiple loan pipelines simultaneously while maintaining strong organizational control and attention to detail
  • Prepare, review, and finalize audit ready loan files
  • Collaborate effectively across teams and adapt to frequent changes as products expand and the portfolio grows
  • Assist in developing, updating, implementing, and maintaining policies and procedures
  • Support additional responsibilities including task assignments, new employee training, and special projects as needed

Required Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in commercial loan documentation or loan closing
  • 2+ years of experience in the banking industry, with working knowledge of applicable regulations
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Completion of a formal commercial loan documentation training program
  • Experience working with commercial leasing or commercial leasing partners

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $28.94 to $51.63 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
