The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $104,686-$133,100 at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.

Provide technical support for semi-complex systems that integrate both hardware and software components, ensuring reliable and efficient system performance. Assist in the evaluation and specification of materials, perform schematic-level troubleshooting, and ensure appropriate follow-up to resolve technical issues. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by recommending strategies to enhance productivity, reduce operational costs, and increase customer satisfaction. Deliver expert-level troubleshooting support to Dematic customers, addressing technical issues and ensuring timely resolution to maintain high service standards

Requires a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, mechatronics engineering, mechanical engineering or related field and 3 years' experience as a Technical Support Engineer, Controls Engineer, Commissioning Engineer, Automation Technician or related occupation. Also requires 2 years of experience with industrial automation and control systems; product engagement and electrical troubleshooting; troubleshooting control systems and controls hardware; commissioning crossbelt sortation systems; and using Allen-Bradley Logix PLC, Siemens, C++, QNX, Databases, and Modicon PLC platforms. Up to 30% domestic and international travel to various unanticipated customer sites. Telecommuting permitted from anywhere in the U.S. Dematic Corp. Headquarters in Grand Rapids, MI.
