Position Details:

  • Location: 228 Billerica Road, Chelmsford, MA 01824
  • Department: Radiology - Mammography
  • Schedule: Full time, 40 hours/weekly, Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, 7:30am - 6:00pm

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Under guidance of a radiologist and licensed mammographer, performs mammography exams in accordance with MQSA, state regulations, and with health centers' established policies and procedures
  • Receives training on skills needed and performs documented, supervised exams to be eligible to sit for the ARRT Certification Exam in Mammography
  • Incumbents hired as a Mammography Technologist - Trainee are required to become licensed in Massachusetts and fully credentialed to practice as a Mammography Technologist within 12 months from the date of hire. Failure to become licensed after one year may be grounds for termination of employment with Atrius Health
  • Continuing education and continuing experience requirements as defined by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) must be maintained

Required Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalency certificate (e.g. GED, HiSET, TASC Test) from an accredited institution or governmental unit
  • Graduate of an accredited radiography program
  • Licensed in Radiography for a minimum of one year
  • Registered by the ARRT in Radiography
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) may be required based on specialty
  • Knowledge of PACS and associated equipment

Preferred Qualification:

  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Experience as a radiologic technologist
  • General knowledge of healthcare delivery services
  • Demonstrated ability to learn and master new tasks related to Image Quality and Safety including knowledge of Mammography equipment and MQSA and ACR regulations
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and work with people of various diverse backgrounds
  • Demonstrated ability to complete Mammography exams in a timely manner even under stressful conditions

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $23.41 to $41.83 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
