JOB TITLE: Senior Consultant, Advisory Services

LOCATION: 1 Optum Circle, Eden Prairie, MN 55344 (Telecommuting available from anywhere in the U.S.)

DUTIES: Research, design, and develop computer and network software or specialized utility programs. Duties include: Perform all phases of software engineering including requirements analysis, application design, code development, and testing; Design and implement product features in collaboration with business and IT stakeholders; Design reusable stored procedures, routines, and functions to perform complex transformations components; Lead technology decisions, drive product implementation and delivery; Troubleshoot production support issues post deployment and determine solutions as required; Create and maintain data pipelines using Azure and Snowflake as primary tools; Manage code in Git/GitHub; Understand data requirements and design optimal pipelines to fulfill use-cases; Understand logical and physical data models to ensure data integrity is maintained; Tune and optimize data processes; Oversee code deployments to production environment, troubleshoot production data issues; Model large datasets to maximize performance for our Business Intelligence Team;; Provide accurate and timely estimates for tasks; Provide support and leadership in critical production support issue resolution; Conduct or facilitate root cause analysis on all in-scope incidents and recommend a corrective action plan; Work with team to achieve timely resolution of all production issues meeting or exceeding Service Level Agreements; Conduct code reviews to ensure the work delivered by the team is of high-quality standards; and Develop innovative approaches. Telecommuting is available from anywhere in the U.S.

REQUIREMENTS: Employer will accept a Master's degree in Technology Management or a related field and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or in a related computer-related occupation. Position requires three (3) years of experience in the following:

* Designing, implementing, and managing scalable data warehousing using Snowflake and integrating with Azure cloud services;
* Building, Parameterizing and Optimizing SSIS packages and creating robust ETL process using SSIS to extract data from Heterogenous Source systems;
* Writing complex SQL Queries, Stored procedures, Functions, CDC, Indexes (Clustered and Non-clustered);
* Optimizing SSIS and SQL Procedures to improve the Performance and scalability of the application;
* Developing reports, dashboards and visualization using SSRS, PowerBI and other BI tools to deliver valuable insights for business stakeholders;
* Building dashboards using Power BI Data visualization;
* GIT or GIT HUB for version control and manage code repositories;
* Implementing robust error-handling mechanisms in SSIS using event handlers, logging, and restarts to ensure data accuracy and fault tolerance;
* Configuring, Scheduling, and monitoring the jobs, ensuring efficient and timely execution on the workflows and ETL jobs;
* Enhancing application to call web services for user authentication, automate mail notifications and seamless user interaction with integrated services;
* Drive high levels of client satisfaction by focusing efforts on results that meet or exceed the client's expectations;
* Maintaining ongoing contact with clients to identify and address emerging issues/concerns; and
* Coordinating/facilitating communications between the client organization and internal teams.

RATE OF PAY: $145,018.00- $184,590 / per year
