Summary:
Under the direction of the Director of Nursing and the DSD, this position is responsible for planning, organizing, and scheduling staff to meet the daily requirements of current federal, state, and local standards and regulations that govern the care center (skilled nursing facility).

Detailed responsibilities:
* Staffing Coordinator

The duties listed below are essential functions of the position that must be performed to effectively perform the position in at least an acceptable manner as defined by Front Porch. In the future, other duties may be assigned and considered essential functions of the position:

  • Coordinate and schedule staff to ensure sufficient coverage for all shifts within healthcare facilities. Work with agencies and hospitals to fill facility needs and achieve required staffing.
  • Communicate any changes the agency or facilities made regarding clinicians to management.
  • Assists the physical, occupational, and speech therapists in carrying out doctor-ordered care plans.
  • Work alongside the credentialing department and agencies to onboard new clinicians
  • Perform all other related duties as assigned.

Credentials:

Essential:
* Certified Nurse Assistant

Education with Equivalent Qualifications:
Essential:
* High School diploma or GED

Experience with Equivalent Qualifications:

Essential:

* 2 Years prior work as a CNA or RNA

Nonessential:

* 2 Years knowledge of medical terminology and staffing positions in an assisted living facility
