You'll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely * from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges. For all hires in the Minneapolis or Washington, D.C. area, you will be required to work in the office a minimum of four days per week.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Support day-to-day activities as Consultant supporting engagement team in partnering with healthcare provider clients across a range of complex traditional, strategic, and/or clinical revenue cycle and medical group optimization projects. Key responsibilities will include:
  • Collaborate with OA Delivery team to provide on-site and off-site consultative services for a portfolio of small to large consulting projects with healthcare provider clients across the revenue cycle and access/medical group optimization terrains
  • Within a project team, serve as thought partner and collaborate with Engagement Lead, Partner, other Consultants or Analysts, and Subject Matter Experts to deliver successful engagement
  • Work with large data sets to analyze data and identify insights
  • Support overall project management, executing against project milestones and timelines
  • Understand the client's business issues and size the financial impact associated with key performance improvement opportunities through complex financial analysis and scenario modeling
  • Support preparation of first drafts of customized client deliverables, including PowerPoint presentations, process maps, analytics, and more
  • Partner with client contacts to coordinate and oversee engagement logistics
  • Manage toward and meet timelines
  • Document key discussion points, decisions reached, and next steps in internal and client facing interactions
  • Regularly connect and collaborate with Engagement Lead(s) and colleagues to assign and complete project tasks
  • Demonstrate strong relationship management skills through successfully partnering with colleagues and the clients alike
  • Develop and continually strengthen knowledge of the revenue cycle terrain across both the professional and technical revenue cycle
  • Ensure engagement quality through running to criticism with both team members and clients alike, regularly seeking proactive feedback and adjusting course as needed based on feedback provided
  • Leverage project documents and deliverables to provide re-use/transferability for other engagements (e.g., de-identifying content, cataloguing deliverables, storing documents in appropriate shared folders)
  • Leverage and contribute to the applicable knowledge repositories (e.g., Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, analysis tools, project toolkits)
  • Drive high levels of client satisfaction by positively contributing to achievement of results that meet or exceed the client's expectations
  • Contribute to practice-level initiatives, including updating data collection materials, etc. beyond client project work
  • Share professional and domain knowledge with peers and colleagues to build overall organization capabilities

Required Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of healthcare revenue cycle
  • Solid proficiency in data analytics across Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and/or Tableau
  • Proven skilled in analytical techniques with the ability to identify root causes and apply creative problem-solving approaches
  • Proven superior analytical capabilities and ability to drill down to the root cause of issues and be creative in problem solving
  • Willingness to travel domestically, up to 60%

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Healthcare consulting experience
  • Hands-on Tableau experience
  • Knowledge across both acute care and professional revenue cycle
  • Revenue Cycle operational knowledge and experience (e.g. revenue integrity, patient access and contact center operations, Epic revenue cycle implementation)

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). No matter where or when you begin a career with us, you'll find a far-reaching choice of benefits and incentives. The salary for this role will range from $71,200 to $127,200 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
