We are seeking a skilled and experienced Enterprise Architect to join our dynamic team. As a leading company in the healthcare industry, we are committed to modernizing our legacy applications and addressing complex business challenges through innovative solutions, including our strategic cloud migration program. As an Enterprise Architect, you will play a pivotal role in driving our technology and business strategies forward. Your primary responsibilities will involve supporting the cloud migration program, devising realistic and achievable solutions to intricate business problems, and leveraging your cloud skills to guide the implementation of Enterprise Architecture principles across the organization.

Primary Responsibilities:



  • Develop and implement comprehensive cloud architecture strategies that align with business objectives and technological advancements
  • Leverage your in-depth knowledge of cloud and other architectural frameworks to design scalable and efficient cloud solutions
  • Provide industry, technology, and market expertise to support strategic business decisions for cloud investments
  • Decompose complex business strategies into initiatives that translate into clear, actionable cloud architecture roadmaps
  • Collaborate across organizational silos to resolve dependencies and accelerate cloud architecture and solution decisions
  • Work with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for cloud adoption, streamline processes, and enhance operational efficiency
  • Apply your expertise in cloud architecture principles to ensure seamless integration of cloud solutions into existing systems and workflows
  • Lead the evaluation and selection of emerging cloud technologies, ensuring alignment with business requirements and industry standards
  • Provide technical guidance and leadership to development teams, ensuring compliance with cloud architectural standards and best practices
  • Define governance and security practices for cloud initiatives, ensuring adherence to industry regulations and company policies
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of implemented cloud solutions, continuously making improvements as necessary
  • Share your knowledge and insights on cloud architecture principles across the organization to foster innovation and best practices

Required Qualifications:



  • 10+ years of professional experience in technology disciplines with primary focus on business strategy and architecture, product strategy and architecture, enterprise architecture, solution architecture, data architecture,integrations architectureandtechnology architecture
  • 6+ years of full lifecycle software engineering experienceusingwaterfall oragile frameworks
  • 5+ years of experience in cloud solution architecture or cloud infrastructure architecture
  • 3+ years of expertise in managing and leading cross-functional matrixed teams. Ability to coach resources to elevate performance and drive results
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience on Azure Well Architected or similar Cloud Architecture framework
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with Terraform and cloud deployment processes
  • Experience in an architecture role incorporating large scale cloud migration programs
  • Experience with developing secure, efficient, and scalable cloud architectures with continuous oversight
  • Experience with cloud optimization techniques and FinOps practices to maximize performance and cost-efficiency
  • Experience in implementing cloud observability and monitoring platform architecture
  • Experience with Azure networking services, including VNets, NSGs, ExpressRoute, VPN Gateways, Load Balancers, and Azure Firewall
  • Experience working with cloud infrastructure, including network design, storage solutions, and computer resources
  • Expertise in cloud security, governance, and compliance with industry standards



Preferred Qualifications:



  • Azure Solutions Architect Expert Certification
  • Demonstrated ability to work on multiple large-scale technology initiatives concurrently
  • Proven success driving business technology strategies that lead to product distinction
  • Proven exceptional interpersonal skills in areas such as teamwork, facilitation and negotiation
  • Proven excellent analytical and collaboration skills and techniques to create innovative market leading solutions
  • Proven excellent time management, communication, decision making and presentation skills

The salary range for this role is $124,500 to $239,400 annually based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
