Ensures safe, appropriate, and economical use of drugs through the application of specialized skills and knowledge in pediatric patient care. This team member is part of the Critical Care Competency Group. As a member of this group, the pharmacist will have the opportunity to work with multidisciplinary teams caring for our critical care population. Coverage areas include neonatal intensive care, pediatric intensive care, cardiac intensive care, emergency department, cardiac transplant, labor & delivery, and the operating room. This pharmacist will serve as the medication expert on the multidisciplinary team, review and verify orders, perform therapeutic drug monitoring, participate in code response, answer drug information questions, and more. With four (4) PGY1 residents, four (4) PGY2 residents, and ~25 pharmacy interns precepting opportunities are readily available. Work is reviewed for adherence to instructions, accuracy, completeness, and conformance to standard practice or precedent. Recurring work clearly covered by guidelines may or may not be reviewed. Salary Information Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience. Annual Salary Range (Based on 40 hours worked per week): $121,394.93 to $182,092.39 Benefits Information Here, you matter.
