Hourly Pay Range:

$26.61 - $39.92 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position Highlights:

  • Position: Physical Therapist Assistant

  • Location: 303 W Lake Street, Addison, IL

  • Full Time

  • Hours: Days with 2 early evening shifts until 7:30pm

What you will do:

Under general supervision and in conjunction with a Physical Therapist, assists in carrying out individualized programs of physical therapy. Demonstrates an appropriate level of clinical skill, as evidenced by correctly following individualized and effective treatment plans, to achieve precise, functional goals. Develops treatment goals consistent with the physical therapist's treatment plan. Provides direct physical therapy services to patients. Educates patients and engages them in their own care. Stays updated regarding developments, new techniques, and equipment in the field of physical therapy. Maintains a well-rounded knowledge base, and clinical reasoning skills to consistently achieve expected clinical outcomes.

What you will need:

Required Education, Skills and/or Experience:

  • Requires an Associate's Degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program

  • Demonstrates organizational, communication and problem-solving skills

Required License/Certification:

  • Current State of Illinois Physical Therapy Assistant licensure within ninety days of start date

  • Current CPR Certification issued by either American Heart Association or Red Cross

Required without License:

  • Notification from Continental Testing Services advising of receipt and approval of application for licensure (if first-time test taker).

  • "Authorization to Test" (ATT) letter from Federation of State Boards of Physical Therapy

  • Confirmation of Computer-Based Exam
