We are seeking a career-minded top performer for the position of Information Technology System Administrator, supporting REDLattice's Corporate Information Technology Department.

Job Description: As an Information Technology System Administrator at REDLattice, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our internal Information Technology infrastructure. You will be responsible for managing and maintaining our systems, networks, and software applications to support the daily operations of our growing team. This position offers a unique opportunity to work on innovative technology in a fast-paced environment dedicated to national security.

Responsibilities:



  • Administer and maintain Windows, Linux, and Mac systems including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
  • Organize, install, and support our team's computer systems, including Local Area Networks (LAN's), Wide Area Networks (WAN's, network segments and other data communication systems.
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal uptime and performance.
  • Implement and maintain network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls.
  • Administer and support cloud services, such as Entra ID (Formerly Azure).
  • Install, configure, and update software applications and operating systems.
  • Perform regular backups and disaster recovery procedures.
  • Provide technical support and assistance to end-users on IT-related issues.
  • Document system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
  • Maintain and monitor corporate security systems and security badging systems.
  • Maintain Security program documentation IAW systems security plan.
  • Maintain SCIF security systems, safes, and CDX 10 locks.
  • Perform duties as Company ISSM and DTO.


Requirements:



  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience 3-5 years).
  • Proven experience as a System Administrator or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows, Mac, and Linux operating systems.
  • Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware, Ovirt, and Proxmox.
  • Familiarity with NAS technologies
  • Familiarity with network protocols, firewalls, routing, and switching.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Bash) for automation tasks.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices in Information Technology systems administration.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Experience with security systems in a SCIF environment.
  • Active US Security clearance, TS/SCI.


Bonus Points:



  • Experience with Synology NAS product.
  • CISSP or Security+ certification.
  • Experience with SIEM technologies. In particular Alienvault OSSIM.?
  • Knowledge/ experience of CMMC 2.0.
