GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:


  1. Be able to read, speak, and understand English.
  2. Must possess Hi
  3. High School diploma or equivalent.
  4. Be able to work and communicate well with others.
  5. Be able to work independently following instructions received from Manager.
  6. Must provide copy of current DMV clean driving record upon acceptance of position and periodically as required by department.
  7. Must possess CDL, class B with Haz Mat endorsement or willing to class A or B, sponsored by the company, within 6 months of hire date.
  8. Must complete Forklift Training and receive certification within 3 months of hire date.
  9. Must maintain confidentiality of all company related information.
  10. Be able and willing to provide own transportation to work.
  11. Possess basic math skills.
  12. Must have excellent organizational and time management skills.
  13. Must load and unload shipments.
  14. Stay current on all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations involving handling of hazardous materials, inbound/outbound shipments and all CDL driving regulations.
  15. Must learn Department of Defense (DoD) and Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) regulations for all storage requirements.
  16. Prior experience in warehousing or inventory is required.
  17. Be able to work all overtime as required.
  18. Willing and able to work alternate schedules as required by Manager for Department needs.



JOB DUTIES:


  1. Ensures all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are followed to prevent quality violations and failures for DoD processes.
  2. Performs daily and weekly inspections on company vehicles assigned to the department.
  3. Performs inspection on transportation equipment used by the department.
  4. Supports escorting vendors and suppliers to and from RFAAP shipping/receiving area.
  5. Responsible for unloading and storage of all DoD incoming material received at the RFAAP facility and verifications with the PBG IC/Receiving Team.
  6. Responsible for performing scanning transaction in the ERP scanners to record the daily movements and update inventory.
  7. Performs interfacility movements daily to support the DoD production lines and ensures all appropriate documents and functions are performed with accuracy.
  8. Ensure to work in a manner to distributes all materials to the production areas upon request in a timely manner to ensure production flow is not interrupted.
  9. Monitors staging area for production setup to avoid wait time and advises to Manager when low (to advise Production Planner)
  10. Clears holding areas and transfers all accepted material to the appropriate storage
  11. Clears DoD line for any product that must go to storage at the end of the day.
  12. Ensures all SOPs are followed to prevent quality violations and failures for DoD processes.
  13. Communicates with the Transportation Department for any maintenance issue regarding vehicles.
  14. Maintains DoD storage areas (Warehouses, magazine, rest house, and dry houses) to ensure compliance is met.
  15. Ensure all products are properly labeled in storage and prior to moving from the production areas.
  16. Performs clearing of DoD storage areas and assists production for Preventive maintenance (PM) as PM's are scheduled.
  17. Keeps all Inert storage areas and Explosive Storage areas organized and storage of product in the most efficient manner for removal of product, this includes consolidating product and transferring items as needed.
  18. Must be committed to ISO (International Organization for Standardization) and the company's Quality Management System using process approach and risk-based methodologies.
  19. Shares in accountability for the effectiveness of the Quality Management System (QMS).
  20. Assist in audits which may include accompanying auditors to all storage areas during inspections and audits.
  21. Obey all company work and safety rules.
  22. Participates in on-going training as directed by the Manager.
  23. Perform all other duties as required by management.


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  1. Must be able to lift 45 - 65 lbs. on an occasional basis without assistance.
  2. Must be able to lift in excess of 65 lbs. on an occasional basis with assistance (using pallet jacks and hand trucks).
  3. Must be able to sit, stand, bend or move throughout work area for 8 to 12 hours per shift.
