Fireworks by Grucci is an 11 time World Record breaking company, that has been lighting up the skies since 1850. We have performed firework displays all over the United States, for events such as EDC, Boston Fireworks Spectacular, Las Vegas Events. We also perform internationally in Dubai, China, the Maldives, and Greece.

Fireworks by Grucci's sister company, Pyrotechnique by Grucci, assists with fireworks operations at its Radford, Virginia facility, located within the Radford Army Ammunition plant.


GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:


  1. Be able to read, speak, and understand English.
  2. Must have High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  3. Must be able to receive clearance from Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (BATFE).
  4. Minimum of one (1) year of experience in Inventory management, supply chain or similar field required.
  5. Experience in picking products from warehouse stock to supply production areas or fulfill orders required.
  6. Ability to read picking lists and pick stock orders accurately required. Ability to pick orders efficiently and accurately in a warehouse is critical to ensuring that products are shipped out on time and customers are satisfied.
  7. Computer skills required with proficiency in Microsoft Office software programs, especially Excel and Word.
  8. Must possess excellent math skills.
  9. Experience in using scanning functions related to an ERP system helpful.
  10. Background in inventory cycle and physical counting, and troubleshooting discrepancies required.
  11. Must have excellent organizational, attention to detail and time management skills.
  12. Must have excellent Communication skills to express concerns or ideas.
  13. Ability to prioritize tasks to maintain production quotas.
  14. Be able to work and communicate well with others.
  15. Must maintain confidentiality of all company related information.
  16. Be able to work with little or no supervision and follow instructions.
  17. Be able to take on assigned responsibilities from Supervisor and complete tasks efficiently.
  18. Must possess valid driver's license.
  19. Be able and willing to provide own transportation.
  20. Be able to learn and follow BATFE and Department of Defense (DoD) regulations involving inventory, recordkeeping, and storage.
  21. Be able to learn and follow International Organization for Standardization (ISO) compliance as it relates to the department.
  22. Ability to physically endure long hours of standing and walking, as well as the strength to lift and carry heavy products with and without transportation equipment.
  23. Be able to work all overtime as required. Late evening, weekend and last-minute overtime can be expected during and immediately following Fireworks season, but not limited to the time period of May through August.
  24. Willing to follow Black-Out period for department demands from the second week of May through the second week of July. No time is granted.
  25. Willing to work altered shifts if necessary.



JOB DUTIES:

  1. Performing tasks related to Fireworks Inventory and suppling production as detailed below and directed by manager.
  2. Accurately gathering products and items to fulfill an order for an internal or external customer using picking lists.
  3. Complete all necessary paperwork accurately within the required timeframe and submit to Inventory Control within the day it is complete.
  4. Bring to attention any products that do not match the picking list or projected inventory levels to the Manager.
  5. Coordinating with the Material Handler to request the adequate number of CDL Material Handlers to pick products and/or deliver to production.
  6. Lead the process when utilizing Material Handler assistance to ensure compliance is met and the products are verified and pulled accurately.
  7. Cleaning and tidying as required to maintain a safe work environment and meet compliance regulations.
  8. Ensure magazines meet BATFE regulations for all storage of products as well as meet compliance for all other regulatory agencies.
  9. Ensure all products are appropriately identified in the magazine with the appropriate hazard labels
  10. Assist or lead inventory cycle and physical counts to ensure proper inventory numbers.
  11. Loading and unloading of inventory, stock, and supplies as required.
  12. Putting away incoming inventory or returns into specified areas and ensuring all paperwork is completed accurately and matches product being placed in magazines.
  13. Participate in preparing test site for testing and performing testing with Manager.
  14. Cross train on DoD inventories and supplying production lines if necessary.
  15. Assist the fireworks department in packing displays if workload permits.
  16. Assist in entering data into FBG Sage 300 to update the DSMT as needed. (Daily Summary Magazine Transactions)
  17. Ensure all Magazine and safety procedures are followed using the appropriate paperwork.
  18. Ensure Government and Commercial product are not stored together and building weight limits do not exceed the allowed limits.
  19. Completes random inspections on storage of inventory compliance as instructed by Manager for all Fireworks storage areas.
  20. Must be committed to ISO and the company's Quality Management System using process approach and risk-based thinking methodologies.
  21. Shares accountability for the effectiveness of the Quality Management System.
  22. Responsible for keeping up to date on all ISO, BATFE and DoD regulations involving inventory.
  23. Assist in BATFE and ISO audits.
  24. Obey all company work and safety rules.
  25. Perform all other duties as required by management.


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  1. Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs without assistance and 35 to 65 lbs with assistance.
  2. Must be able to sit, stand, bend, or move throughout work area for 8-12 hours per shift
