Responsibilities

As a Staff Software Engineer at CNH Industrial, you will be integral in advancing cloud-based applications, ensuring consistent, high-quality data usage across platforms for a uniform user experience. Your role involves driving architectural excellence and fostering innovation by simplifying complex requirements and crafting sustainable solutions that support business growth and user needs. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong sense of ownership, strategic thinking, and personal accountability, thriving in a collaborative environment that values long-term planning and continuous improvement. This position requires balancing quick tactical wins with strategic initiatives to adapt technology for future demands.

    Architect and lead the development of robust enterprise-level solutions, ensuring solutions are scalable and reliable.
  • Manage, support, and maintain highly available services that are crucial to the continued operation of the enterprise, responding promptly to alerts, outages, and other customer-impacting events.
  • Architect and design solutions that ensure a consistent user experience regardless of the application used.
  • Lead project planning, including creating sequence diagrams, flowcharts, and task breakdowns for team execution.
  • Lead small projects and technical implementations, taking full ownership from conception to deployment.
  • Create and update documentation for designs, and all phases of the project.
  • Conduct code reviews, ensuring adherence to enterprise development standards by providing critical feedback and suggestions.
  • Deliver mentorship through pair programming and interactive sessions to upskill other team members.
  • Drive innovation by challenging and refining software requirements to reduce complexity and enhance functionality.
  • Demonstrates support for company culture in their daily actions and behaviors.


Qualifications

  • Advanced engineer with 8+ years of career experience, with Bachelor's degree in Engineering. 6+ years with Master's degree. 3+ years with PHD. Or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Proficiency in writing efficient SQL for databases such as PostgreSQL and Microsoft SQL.

  • Extensive experience with major cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or equivalent.

  • Proficiency in Git and familiarity with change tracking tools.

  • Strong understanding of REST and SOAP APIs, and integration with external APIs, including industry-standard integration patterns such as OAuth 2.0.

Preferred Qualification:

  • Expertise in .NET Core and Entity Framework.

This position pays: $142,600 - $189,750 plus any applicable bonus (Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.)
