Twisting Operator

Job hours are from 6pm-6am. $15.00/hour (this includes the night shift premium)

Summary

The Twister Operator will perform general duties in the twisting department that focus on the operation of twisters to produce quality product in a safe manner that is in accordance with the Sprinturf standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (but not limited to)

1. Operate the assigned positions of the twisting machine to produce quality work
2. Learn and operate twisting position for mono and tape materials
3. Ability to operate, all twisting machines and materials
4. Assist in change overs on the twisting line
5. Assist in training new employees
6. Keep are and line free of any debris and/or waste
7. Complete the production logs for the twisting department
8. Ability to print labels for completed packages

Education and/or Experience

High school diploma or equivalent.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.

Other Requirements

• Requires the ability to work under pressure and handle unexpected challenges in a fast-paced environment.
• Typically works in a warehouse.
• Must function effectively both independently and in a team environment.
• Positive attitude & good work ethic
• Proactive, self-motivated, and strong ability to multitask.
• Physical requirements will include standing or walking constantly during the shift
• Will need to be able to lift 10-15 lbs. packages, frequently during the shift
• The environment is NOT air conditioned and the temperature inside the plant will be hot during the warm months and cooler during the colder months.
