Job Overview
The EHAU Project Assistant supports the Emergency and Humanitarian Action Unit (EHAU) to implement the workplan and improve the analytics functioning for the Emergency Roadmap product. Reporting to the EHAU's Strategy Officer, the Assistant also supports the coordination of content build and management and change management socialization workstreams. Their support will directly impact EHAU's ability to timely execute the Roadmap project within Fiscal Year 2024.
Major Responsibilities:
* Work with members of the EHAU team to collect, record, and categorize all emergency response pillar's guidance, resources, and templates within a master box folder. This includes meeting with EHAU pillar leads and relevant content owners and support them with the content collection and organization.
* Support the Strategy Officer and UX/UI Designer with the roadmap Excel workbook design and implementation. This includes being a thought partner in the Excel design and development process and supporting in the improvement of Excel analytics capabilities.
* Capture, organize, and archive all learnings and development onto a Single Source of Truth documentation.
* Design and create a simple video tutorial for Excel product's navigation and utilization.
* Support the Strategy Officer to craft Change Management socialization and communication materials.
* Proactively suggest process improvement to enhance the efficiency of the project implementation.
Job Requirements:
* Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and video-editing is essential.
* Knowledge and experience in computer science and data analysis is crucial.
* Outstanding customer service skills and proactively problem-solving issues with a "can-do" approach.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a multi-cultural environment.
* Attention to detail, organizational and prioritization skills will be essential in maintaining high service levels.
* Ability to work in fast-paced environment and handle a high volume of requests in an effective and timely manner.
* Experience implementing a product/service is preferred.
* Prior experience working with IRC and the Emergency Unit preferred.
Compensation:
Posted pay ranges apply to US-based candidates. Ranges are based on various factors including the labor market, job type, internal equity, and budget. Exact offers are calibrated by work location, individual candidate experience and skills relative to the defined job requirements.
