Job Description

NNL is seeking an experienced engineer to provide oversight and program integration of ongoing and upcoming examination programs at the Materials and Fuels Complex (MFC) and Oak Ridge Nation Laboratory (ORNL). In this role you will work with test sponsors to integrate subcontracted exams from all technical disciplines in accordance with approved priorities and resource availability, ensure equipment and documentation support schedule needs, resolve technical and administrative issues, and adjust schedules to accommodate emergent changes, as well as follow test sponsor contracts. The responsibilities of this position also include the developing and managing of integrated schedules, applying project management and project controls principles to all projects, developing and maintaining project schedules and forecasts for fund allocation, measuring project performance to schedule and cost plans, monitor status of open items and drive completion, creating high-visibility project reports/metrics (monthly and quarterly) for a wide audience, coordination and integration of project team efforts, and communication with project stakeholders. This position may require travel to various facilities (1-3 times per year).

Required Combination of Knowledge and Skill

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in engineering or science related field and 6 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree from an accredited college or university in engineering or science related field and 4 years of relevant experience

Pay Range
$91,500 - $143,000 annually
