The successful industrial maintenance technician will have strong interpersonal and communication skills and be able to perform daily tasks required to ensure operational ability of production equipment and building systems. He/she will have a strong working knowledge of industrial maintenance, encompassing many of the following area: Electrical troubleshooting using meters and schematics Mechanical aptitude Hydraulics/Pneumatics troubleshooting using prints CNC machines Robotic arms Conveyor systems Ovens or furnaces PLC and Ladder logic functionality Understanding of high power AC/DC electricity and components. Safety systems and guarding, interlocks, etc. Qualifications High School Diploma or Equivalent 2+ years' experience in maintaining industrial equipment and automation or equivalent Preferred Qualifications Associate's degree in Industrial Maintenance preferred. Welding certification preferred Experience with large industrial system hydraulics or electrical a plus Knowledge of: Electrical troubleshooting using meters and schematics Mechanical aptitude Hydraulics/Pneumatics troubleshooting using prints CNC machines Robotic arms Conveyor systems Ovens or furnaces PLC and Ladder logic functionality Understanding of high power AC/DC electricity and components.
