BSA Health System, located in Amarillo, TX, is an extensive health system providing clinical excellence to the Texas Panhandle and the tri-state area. Acclaimed for its superior quality and customer service, BSA Health System is comprised of BSA Hospital, Physicians Surgical Hospitals, Harrington Cancer Center, BSA Physicians Group and specialty clinics. BSA Health System has 486 licensed beds POSITION SUMMARY The role is to serve BSA Health System through leadership of the BSA Harrington Cancer Center (HCC), BSA Harrington Breast Center and Harrington Physicians, Inc., in their business activities so as to facilitate teamwork and cooperation among stakeholders and maximize the organization's success. This leader has the authority and responsibility for developing and implementing policies and procedures, budgets, goals, and planning for the areas of responsibility. The primary focus will be to support the mission of the BSA Health System and the BSA Harrington Cancer Center in the development of an environment which stresses the value of quality patient care, education, and research. Aligning operational and clinical processes with Ardent Health System Oncology practices. The scope includes leadership of a multi-site operation which includes HCC Joyce Courson Campus and Harrington Breast Center with regional mammography outreach program. Responsibilities within Harrington Cancer Center include the Departments of Radiation Therapy, Nursing and Quality, Pharmacy, Clinical Laboratory, Supportive Care Services, Clinical Research, Physician Relations, Business Development, the Harrington Breast Center, and Community Outreach. Leadership will be provided to Harrington Physicians, Inc including practice management, business development and physician recruitment. Active participation in Ardent Oncology Service Line Committee, Ardent Enterprise Outpatient Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee, and Ardent Oncology Leadership Committee. This position requires strong skills in management, strategic planning, leading, organizing, and controlling. The economic, political, and public expectations of the organization are significant, and the changing market requires skillful leadership and planning to design and implement strategic adjustments as appropriate.
