Truly all the music you love, all in one place. Apple Music Radio is in search of a Managing Producer for our flagship station, Apple Music 1. You will oversee day to day production creating high level global content for the Apple Music platform. The Apple Music 1 Managing Producer is the direct point of contact for the production team. They are responsible for providing logistical guidance and support. Working closely with the station Executive Producers, they will lead producers in the execution of the programming and scheduling strategy for Apple Music 1.

Key Qualifications

  • 5 to 10 years + experience leading production teams in a radio production environment.
  • Experience working and communicating cross-functionally in a dynamic environment under concurrent deadlines.
  • Ability to manage team workloads independently and effectively.
  • Proactive in identifying potential issues before they impact project timelines.
  • Skilled communicator with excellent interpersonal skills capable of delivering critical updates to senior level leadership.
  • Confident presenter with advanced Keynote experience.
  • Flexible, calm under pressure with ability to motivate a team during challenging times.
  • A dedicated self-starter who demonstrates both creative and critical thinking.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • A deep familiarity with the Apple ecosystem of services and hardware.


Description

Execute programming, schedule strategy and production alongside Station Executive Producer and Managing Producer counterparts. Collaborate with Executive Producer to articulate staff and resource planning. Lead cross-functional communications, creative planning and production strategy for Editorial priorities. Act as lead producer for high level productions and live studio sessions as well as remote live event tapings. Conduct quality checks on all audio content to ensure it meets the highest standards of clarity, consistency, and overall excellence. Oversee studio broadcast output providing feedback to content producers, technical producers and engineering. Identify and report on-platform (Apple Music) errors to appropriate production teams. Integrate with the Audio On-Demand & Podcast leads on new show launches and special projects. Request and track video/content capture requests with Video and Editorial Teams. Align with Production Manager counterparts on new processes or changes to tools. Responsible for leading show planning meetings detailing deadlines for all required deliverables including Design and Copy. Represent AM1 deliverables in cross-functional production meetings related to larger projects. Work cross-functionally with Design, Public Relations, Social Media, Editorial, Copy, Original Content teams across different timezones. Create, maintain and share information, deadlines and reminders regarding high level projects and Apple tentpole initiatives. The role may have additional responsibilities.

Education & Experience

Bachelors degree or equivalent experience preferred.

    At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $116,900.00 and $221,100.00, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
