If this sounds like an environment you would thrive in, we have an exciting opportunity for an Engineer for Risk Analysis - New Grad! BS in Nuclear, Electrical, Mechanical or Chemical).

This position is hybrid in nature requiring 2 days/week on-site at the Westinghouse Global Headquarters facility in Cranberry Woods, PA in the Greater Pittsburgh Area. No relocation will be provided for this position. We are able to entertain all candidates authorized to work without sponsorship now and in the future as we are unable to sponsor Visa's for this opportunity.

Your Day-to-Day:



  • Perform Probabilistic Risk Assessments (PRA) for nuclear power plant systems evaluating plants potential vulnerability to all risk and hazard types (i.e., seismic, fire, flooding, etc.) for domestic and international plants, including next generation commercial nuclear plants
  • Support project teams effectively contributing to the technical execution as well as the schedule and financial objectives.
  • Present technical topics and interface with global customers and regulatory bodies



Who You Are:

As a successful candidate, you will bring the following to the team:



  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Nuclear, or Chemical)
  • GPA 3.0 or Above
  • Ability to apply fundamental engineering principles.
  • Concise and effective written and verbal skills
  • Ability to independently establish, implement personal goals, and action plans.
  • Ability to work seamlessly with global team through various communication styles (email, phone, Microsoft Teams, etc.)



Nice-to-Have:



  • Professional Engineer in Training or PE License
  • Database management and data analysis skills
  • Interest in software programming and code development
