Our Summer Internship Program An internship with us gives you the opportunity to work side by side with passionate problem solvers on powerful and fulfilling work. This Opportunity The Clinical Technology Solutions team is seeking an energetic, creative, and responsible intern to join our growing organization. This internship will involve challenging opportunities, real technical projects, and interaction with staff. You will be working closely with our team, internal business units, external sponsors, and vendors in defining, developing and implementing technical solutions that support core Clinical Trial activities. Job Responsibilities v Gathers and documents current processes, key partners, and relationships of current labs and clinical equipment, applications and systems by working with CPB operations Management, users, and technical resources. v Applies knowledge of computer hardware and software, information processing techniques used, and information gathered from system to support current Projects that are in-flight or new. This would be accomplished by being the entry level business analyst or the tester role. v Works with the Program managers and Application support teams in understanding the security vulnerabilities and mapping the right vulnerability to the right team. This involves documentation, assigning tasks and follow up. Get to know Syneos Health Qualifications Qualifications Education: v Current pursuit of a bachelor's degree in a technology major such as Biology, Pre-med, Clinical, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Information Science, or similar Experience / Knowledge: v Required: Candidate/incumbent currently in pursuit of a bachelor's degree or better. v Required: Able to develop system and network diagrams like Visio and knowledge of project management methodology and mechanics (SDLC, Waterfall, Agile) is a plus. v Required: Past internship experience or coursework related to process mapping or documentation. v Preferred: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. v Proactive, self-motivated, and team-oriented v Curious, creative mindset with comfort and ability to ask questions and seek answers as needed. v Ability to quickly learn, internalize, and utilize new information and processes. v Strong communication skills - written and verbal.
