GAI Consultants, Inc. is seeking for a technically diversified Civil/Geotechnical Engineering Manager to support our Power Generation Geotechnical Engineering Group working in Richmond, VA office. An ideal candidate's opportunities would include developing client and business relationships and providing staff management and civil and geotechnical engineering expertise across a diverse range of multi-discipline design and construction projects. This candidate will be able to perform project planning, design, engineering, and geotechnical engineering services for Energy, Institutional, Industrial, and Manufacturing clients. Education
Bachelors of Civil Engineering (required)
Experience
12 years: Civil/Geotechnical Engineering technical design experience. (required)
5 years: Experience managing Civil/Geotechnical Engineering project teams duties such as hiring, budgeting, employee performance, and compensation reviews, and creating a group and department goals. (required) Maintain a positive and collaborative attitude with excellent communication skills. (required) Demonstrates sales experience in acquiring new clients, and developing/maintaining existing clients. (required) Must possess demonstrated success in group and project management, staff growth and development, client development, and directing the concurrent execution of multiple complex projects. (required) Must be detail-oriented and maintain professionalism at all times. We provide a "Client First" approach to all interactions. (required) Professional Licensure in other states or NCEES registration. (preferred) Existing Energy, Institutional, Industrial, and/or Manufacturing client relationships. (preferred) Licenses & Certifications
