St. Ann's Community Director of Development - Planned Giving Exempt Position Description
Job Purpose The primary purpose of your position is to plan, coordinate and implement philanthropy programs for the benefit of St. Ann's Community.

Core Tasks:
REQUIREMENTS Some evening and weekend availability is required. Working Conditions While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals and infectious diseases. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Qualifications Education: Bachelor's degree and four to six years of professional experience in development/fundraising environment, non-profit, or equivalent combination of education and/or experience. Solid writing, interpersonal, team building and oral presentation skills are essential. Must be proficient in Microsoft suite of programs. Experience and proficiency at Blackbaud Raiser's Edge software a plus. Must have reliable transportation to and from work-related events throughout the course of the workday. Language: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write correspondence, proposals and other technical writing materials. Ability to effectively present information in oneonone and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization. Math Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percentages. Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations Specific Requirements To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Safety Factors The employee is required to ensure personal safety, monitor work environment and make necessary improvements while ensuring the safety of others to include, adhering to regulations set by OSHA, DOH, and facility regulations, to include fire protection/prevention, smoking regulations, infection control, etc. Tasks involved in this position may involve potential and/or direct exposure to blood, body fluids, infectious diseases, air contaminants, and hazardous chemicals. I understand that my employment is at-will and thereby my employment can be terminated at-will either by the facility or myself and that such termination can be made with or without notice. However, in the event that I chose to resign my position, I will give notice a minimum two week notice.
