Description
GAI Consultants is looking for a Structural Engineer to support our Power and Energy Engineering - Substation Group. This position has the ability to work fully remote or hybrid schedule based out of Homestead, PA; Lisle, IL; Overland Park, KS; or Jackson, MI. This person will serve as a structural engineer and project/task manager for structural discipline projects for primarily utility clients. This position executes structural engineering tasks, including working/coordinating with engineering/drafting staff, preparation and checking of calculations, drawing development, preparation of deliverables, schedule compliance, and budget tracking for assigned tasks. Project work includes new construction, modification of existing structures, condition assessment/rehabilitation, and feasibility studies. Job Duties:

Education
Bachelors of Structural Engineering (required)
Bachelors of Civil Engineering (required) Experience
3 years: Experience with STAAD, RISA, and other related engineering software. (required)
3 years: Experience with structural or heavy industrial structure design. (required) Licenses & Certifications
Professional Engineer (required)
Driver's License (required) Skills
