Description
GAI Consultants is seeking an Environmental Manager to work out of one of our three main Indiana offices located in Fishers, Fort Wayne, or Indianapolis. You will be responsible for overseeing the preparation of environmental studies, wetland delineations, permitting (NEPA, CEs, EAs, Construction in a Floodway, Indiana Department of Environmental Management (IDEM) 401, United States Army Corps 404, IDEM Rule 5, etc.) and mitigation plans and monitoring, and Section 106 regulations. Our clients include the Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT), counties, cities, towns, and utility companies across Indiana. Job Duties:

Education
Bachelors of Engineering (required)
Experience
8 years: Experience in the Transportation and Infrastructure Improvement industry working and preparing environmental and permitting agency documents. (required)
2 - 3 years: Wetland delineation experience, and a solid understanding of state and federal wetland regulations. (required) Experience in Waterway Permitting and Mitigation, Wetland determination/delineation and GIS software. (required) Knowledgeable of Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) requirements is a plus. (preferred) Licenses & Certifications
