Summer Intern - Information Security

Description

Essential Responsibilities:



  • Participate with the information security team to ensure appropriate measures are in place to identify and prevent potential security risks throughout the network and endpoint environment
  • Assist with detecting vulnerabilities and working with the IT team to ensure timely remediation.
  • Perform research work in the area of information and network security to ensure continued progress in the protection of information assets


  • Participate in the development and review of risk assessments
  • Participate in the implementation and review of appropriate user access throughout the network


Minimum Required Skills and Competencies:



  • Basic computer skills required with Microsoft Windows and Office
  • Must be currently enrolled in a 4-year university or currently enrolled in a Master's Degree Program


Desired Skills and Competencies:



  • Work Experience and/or Degree program related to Technology and Information Security
