Summer Intern - Information Technology

Essential Responsibilities:



  • Work closely with the information technology team to support the daily activities of the specific areas and assist as needed with various projects and initiatives.
  • Obeys all applicable federal laws, rules, and regulations relating to Anti-Money Laundering (AML) including the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA)



May Have the Opportunity to:



  • Perform research work as needed in the areas of information and network security to ensure continued progress in the protection of information assets
  • Learn and participate in the implementation and review of appropriate user access throughout the network
  • Learn and participate in the implementation process and review of the vendors involved in network and endpoint security
  • Learn and participate in the management of the incident response programs



Summer Internship Minimum Required Skills and Competencies:



  • Must be at least 18 years of age or older
  • Must have completed at least one year of college and be currently enrolled full-time in a four-year degree program - Information Technology, Management Information Systems or Computer Science majors preferred
  • Must be available to work Monday through Friday, mid-May through mid-August
  • Punctual and dependable
  • Works well in a team environment
  • Detailed oriented and willing to help other


Desired Skills and Competencies:



  • Common knowledge of all Microsoft applications and Google Drive
  • Ability to write professionally and present work
  • Ability to interpret written rules and regulations pertinent to the financial or mortgage banking industry.
  • Analytical ability to recognize opportunities for improvement and recommend solutions professionally in areas of assigned responsibility.



Physical Requirements:



  • Work up to 40 hours a week
  • Wear professional attire
  • Follow published COVID-19 protocols
