Laboratory Assistant I (Limited)

The Crump Institute is seeking to hire a motivated Laboratory Assistant I to support the operations of the imaging center. The primary responsibilities of this role include assisting with PET, CT, MRI, optical scanners, and related equipment used in small animal imaging research. Additionally, the role involves aiding in data analysis and organization. Accurate and timely recording of imaging data into databases for record-keeping is essential. The position also entails managing the supply inventory, ensuring it is well-stocked, and maintaining a safe, clean, and organized imaging center environment.

*Note this is a 3 month limited role which may convert to career*

Hourly rate: $19.32-$22.37

Required:

• Basic understanding of biology;
• Organized and detail-oriented; maintains up-to-date, accurate and organized schedules and records on a timely basis;
• Ability to multi-task to meet deadlines;
• Ability to work independently and troubleshoot scheduling conflicts, etc;
• Skilled at working with spreadsheets, databases, and email;
• Ability to follow directions and to both work independently and to work well with a team when needed;
• Ability to keep laboratory space clean, safe and organized.
