Position Summary:

The Sr. Human Resource Manager is an essential key player to the success of the facility. This position will be a point of contact for employees in a fast-paced manufacturing plant environment. This candidate will uphold Human Resource policies and partner with business operations to ensure a complete understanding of business needs and objectives. The Sr. Human Resource Manager will serve as a liaison for most of the following areas: employee engagement, succession planning, talent management, labor relations, employment, employee relations, compensation, benefits, EEO, and/or training and development.

Reporting Relationships:

The Sr. Human Resource Manager will report to the Senior Director of Human Resources for the EPD Division.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Spend time on shop floor to support workforce as a point of contact
  • Develop and administer key HR policies and processes around talent management, coaching, employee relations, compensation, benefits, and recruiting for the facility
  • Develop intermediate/short range departmental goals and objectives in partnership with Management.
  • Coordinate, implement, monitor and update plans, programs, targets, and initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain HR metrics.
  • Work with other managers to coordinate division operations and activities; plans and establishes work schedules, assignments, plan and forecast staffing. and resources to meet departmental goals.
  • Acts as point of contact for employees, creates record of complaints and grievances and implements resolutions.
  • Partner with Quality to align Directorate goals with Business Quality Management System (BQMS).
  • Partner with Environmental Health and Safety to ensure OSHA Compliance.
  • May occasionally perform special projects; Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Acts as a site expert for LOA administration, including FMLA, CFRA, ADA and Workers Comp

Required Skills:

  • Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer service including assessments and audits, standards and benchmarks, evaluation of program effectiveness, and resolution of problems, bottlenecks, and deficiencies.
  • Knowledge of benefits, performance evaluation, and compensation plans; Understanding of individual performance, abilities, learning, and motivation; Knowledgeable about agency laws and regulations relating to human resources (FLSA, EEO, etc.).
  • Knowledge of management principles involved in strategic planning and forecasting including people, material, and equipment resource allocation; corporate and human resource policies and benefits; leadership; teaming; and production methods.
  • Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills required to interface with employees and management personnel.
  • Detailed, accurate, and organized; Ability to inform others about company benefits, policies, and procedures.
  • Proactive communicator who can clearly articulate results and needs across all levels
  • Ability to establish and communicate clear priorities and to influence others to support and act on those priorities.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines.
  • Bilingual Spanish preferred

Required Experience and Level of Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree plus 8+ years' experience
  • Master's Degree preferred
  • PHR/PHRca, CAShrm or SPHR, preferred
  • 8+ years of manufacturing industry experience

Relocation

Relocation is authorized for this position.

For informational purposes only, the range of pay for this role is $153,700.00 to $230,500.00 US Dollar (USD) Salaried based on a variety of factors. For informational purposes only, this role is eligible to participate in the Company's Quarterly Cash Bonus Plan, paid out at the quarterly bonus factor of 3X the Company's bonus multiple, based on the Company's performance in the applicable quarter . Employees will receive 120 hours paid time off every year. Employees will also receive 10 paid holidays. Employees (and their families) are eligible to participate in the company's medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees are eligible to enroll in the Company's 401(k) plan.
This position requires use of information or access to production processes subject to national security controls under U.S. export control laws and regulations (including, but not limited to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the Export Administration Regulations (EAR)). To be qualified to work in this facility, a successful applicant must be a U.S. Person, as defined in those regulations, and able to supply evidence of that qualification prior to starting work or be authorized to receive controlled information under a specific license or permission from the relevant government agency.
