Location: North Spring Behavioral Healthcare, Leesburg, VA
Sign-On Bonus: $5,000

About the Position:

North Spring Behavioral Healthcare is seeking compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurses to join our team for day shift. You will provide nursing care in accordance with the nursing process and facility policies, ensuring high-quality behavioral and medical support for our patients in a secure environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver nursing care following facility policies and procedures.
  • Monitor, document, and report patient behavior and physiological status.
  • Administer medications and perform treatments/procedures aligned with nursing standards.
  • Collaborate with nurse managers and physicians to manage patients experiencing behavioral crises or medical emergencies.
  • Provide accurate and concise shift reports to oncoming staff.

Qualifications

  • Active RN license in the Commonwealth of Virginia or a compact state.
  • Associate Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Experience in psychiatric nursing, ideally with children and/or adolescents.
  • Must be at least 21 years old.
  • Successful completion of criminal background check and pre-employment drug screening.
