What you will be doing

Under general direction of the Director, Customer Maintenance, the Supervisor of the Customer License team works directly with the District management and the Regulatory Compliance teams to provide license integrity and accurate records in ABDC systems across Distribution Center locations. This role supports the customer license area of the Distribution Center's regulatory compliance efforts and procedures. This extremely critical role has responsibility for all customer licensing and maintenance on the information technology system within the assigned region, contributing to the profitability of the customer.

  • Responsible for supervising the Licensing Specialist team. Responsible for associate hiring, firing, training and performance management.

  • Responsible for and manages the process for customer license validation to ensure regulatory compliance for licensing which includes the Federal DEA, State Board of Pharmacy, State Controlled Substance and State Medical Device. Oversees the creation of the customer accounts Responsible for verification, loading and/or updating and the expiration of customer licensing records in ABDC systems

  • Uses a variety of methods such as paper copies, websites, and electronic records to validate and verify customer licensing information.

  • Manages the process for collecting, validating, and ensuring regulatory compliance for licensing which includes Federal DEA, State Board of Pharmacy, State Controlled Substance, and State Medical Device.

  • Responsible for ensuring customer setup compliance with the CSRA Due Diligence Process and documenting all processes.

  • Support to D.C. Compliance and the DC operating level. Works closely with the Compliance Manager or the Regulatory Compliance Manager.

  • Responsible for defining and managing the customer licensure. The loading and/or updating, validation, and the expiration of licensing records for ABDC systems and Distribution Center locations. of the

  • Manages and maintain the license master files based on CSRA and SOX compliance guidelines. Implements and manages the audit processes as needed for customer profile information; generates and analyzes reports for all key customer fields such as license expiration, legal regulations, license type, business types, and license material classification.

  • Conducts daily maintenance and troubleshooting to maintain data accuracy in various systems.

  • Responsible for following approval process for business-critical fields supporting customer licensing

  • Responsible for documenting setups and changes and approvals to ensure compliance with established processes.

  • Interacts with all levels of the organization for requests related to delivery, programs and services, contracts, sales, finance, CSRA, and corporate departments.

  • Has complete ownership of the customer master file and all components such as Licensing, Contracts/PVAs, routing, program compliance, pricing, substitution setups, etc.

  • Performs related duties as assigned.

What your background should look like

Requires broad training in fields such as business administration, accountancy, sales, marketing, computer sciences or similar vocations generally obtained through completion of a four-year bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience. Normally requires a minimum of three (3) years related and progressively responsible experience; minimum five (5) years' experience with ABC or like company in customer service, customer maintenance, or administrative position. SAP experience required.

  • Understands ABC systems and internal processes

  • Experience with SAP Customer Master Data

  • Demonstrated history of operating in a professional manner with customers or other associates.

  • Excellent analytical skills relative to data analysis and data auditing

  • Excellent organizational skills

  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing

  • Excellent customer service skills, proven track record of detail oriented problem solving, trouble shooting, and follow up

  • Excellent interpersonal skills

  • Working knowledge of computers necessary to operate effectively with company systems and programs; proficient in Microsoft Office (specifically Excel and Word)

  • Good understanding of local, regional and national contracts; must know DEA and state licensing details as well as programs and services offered by the Company

  • Familiarity with multiple ABC systems such as SAP, Star MF, and Data Warehouse.

  • Familiarity with customer maintenance related areas such contracts, credit, rebates, and accounts receivable.

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently

  • Excellent problem-solving skills; ability to resolve issues effectively and efficiently

*This Salary Range reflects a National Average for this job. The actual range may vary based on your locale. Ranges in Colorado/California/Washington/New York State-specific locations may be up to 10% lower than the minimum salary range, and 12% higher than the maximum salary range.
