Staff Accountant II
What will you be doing: The Staff Accountant II will report to the Manager, Corporate Accounting and contribute to the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy and completeness. The Accountant is responsible for daily review of invoices, preparing monthly journal entries, performing monthly analytic explanations, preparing various reports, as well as producing financial reporting package(s) for their assigned division(s). The Accountant also reconciles balance sheet accounts monthly and participates in fixed asset tracking and annual inventory counts. All activites will be performed to ensure compliance with SOX requirements. Strong written and verbal communication skills and professionalism is required to interact with various levels of management. This position must exercise independence in managing ad hoc projects while exercising good judgment about elevating questions or key issues to management for guidance.
