Short Description

The Project Manager provides leadership and operational oversight for grant-funded programs, ensuring effective implementation, stakeholder engagement, regulatory compliance, financial stewardship, and achievement of program objectives. The role collaborates with interdisciplinary teams, community partners, funders, and organizational leadership to manage project activities, monitor performance, and support data-driven decision-making and reporting. The Project Manager supervises assigned staff and leads project teams to promote successful program outcomes and sustainable program growth.

Lead the planning, implementation, and ongoing management programs and initiatives, ensuring achievement of project goals, deliverables, timelines, and performance measures.
Develop and maintain project plans, workflows, policies, and operational processes that support effective program execution, continuous improvement, and sustainability.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including leadership, staff, community partners, funders, and subject matter experts, to build strong working relationships and advance program objectives. Monitor program performance and compliance by coordinating data collection, tracking outcomes, preparing reports, and ensuring adherence to grant requirements, organizational policies, and regulatory standards.
Plan, coordinate, and facilitate meetings, workgroups, training activities, and stakeholder engagements; communicate project status, risks, barriers, and recommendations to appropriate audiences.
Oversee program budgets and grant-related expenditures in partnership with finance, grants management, and other administrative staff to ensure responsible stewardship of funding resources.
Supervise assigned staff, consultants, interns, and/or project team members, including work assignment, performance coaching, professional development, and accountability for program outcomes.
Lead special projects and other duties as assigned in support of departmental, organizational, and grant-funded priorities.

The New Jersey Pay Transparency Act requires disclosure of the pay range for this position.

A salary offer will vary based on the job role, candidate experience, qualifications, internal pay equity and market data.
