Position Title: SUPPORT STAFF Department: Lihue Corps Supervisor: Corps Officers FLSA Status: Non-Exempt- Part Time -12 hours Date: January 2023 The Salvation Army exists to Save Souls, Grow Saints and Serve Suffering Humanity by being a church that is: - BIBLICALLY AUTHENTIC IN MOTIVE AND MISSION - A RELEVANT AND VIBRANT EXPRESSION OF CHRISTIANITY - CULTURALLY DIVERSE IN METHODS AND MINISTRY - COMPASSIONATELY ACTIVE IN SERVING HUMANITY POSITION SUMMARY: This position will be split between the Corps and the Thrift store. The Support Staff's function is to assist the Corps Officers in the ongoing operation and ministry of the Corps as well as assist the Food Service manager with hot meal distribution and emergency food distribution. Assist the thrift store with receiving donations on Saturday's. The Support Staff will have a deep commitment to the mission of The Salvation Army which will be evident in his or her professional life and the manner in which he or she represents The Salvation Army Lihue Corps in the community.
