October 04, 2022 Description: CABH COE Child and Adolescent Needs and Strengths (CANS) Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) Manager Date: September 21, 2022 Title: Research Associate: Child and Adolescent Needs and Strengths (CANS) Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) Manager Department: Center of Innovative Practices at the Begun Center for Violence Prevention Research & Education School: Jack, Joseph and Morton Mandel School of Applied Social Sciences Location: Mandel School of Applied Social Sciences Supervisor Name and Title: Heather Distin, Research Associate, Project Director, Child and Adolescent Behavioral Health Center of Excellence POSITION OBJECTIVE CIP is home to a multi-disciplinary team of behavioral healthcare professionals in the areas of systems of care, child, youth and family mental health, substance abuse, trauma, and resilience, providing consultation and technical assistance at the local and state levels on evidence-based practices, program implementation, fidelity evaluation, and system of care policies and practices. The CANS CQI Manager is responsible for the quality oversight and management of the Ohio CANS quality improvement system. The CANS CQI Manager works collaboratively to support the State's efforts to achieve a sustainable system of care across Ohio, through provider development, capacity building, and quality management of evidence-based and evidence-supported practices. REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
QUALIFICATIONS Experience: Minimum of a Master's Degree and Independent licensure with supervisory credentials in one of the following disciplines: Counselor, Social Worker, Marriage and Family Therapist, or Psychologist. A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in training, management, and program implementation within the mental health and substance abuse system. Experience in implementing evidence-based and best practices. Experience administering the CANS with children, youth and families in various settings. Experience using the CANS in supervision and/or training on the CANS. WORKING CONDITIONS General working conditions. In-state travel is required.
