Physical Requirements Sitting for long periods of time, lifting up to 25 lbs. Performing motion tasks. Effectively communication with individuals from diverse backgrounds. Shift The Customer Service Center is open Monday through Friday, 7:30am to 6pm. Shifts are 8.5 hours, an hour of which is lunch. 37.5 hours/week. Typical shift hours are 7:00am to 3:30pm, or 9:30am to 6:00pm. Shift hours can change without notice to cover employees who have not shown up to work. Overtime and Saturdays are expected during certain times of the year such as the start of student semesters and the beginning of the fiscal year; July 1. Job Summary Seeking highly motivated, enthusiastic, and collaborative candidate. This position will serve a customer service representative in the Customer Service Center of the Transportation Services Department. This position is responsible for parking permit issuance and maintaining timely and accurate cash handling and related record keeping. This position will provide professional, customer friendly, positive customer service and be able to resolve ordinary concerns, conflicts and grievances with students, employees and visitors. Confidence with software management is crucial. Special assignments are required. Skills / Knowledge / Abilities T2 FLEX , MS Office, SAP , Database Experience, 2-Way Radio, Multi-Line Telephones, Copier, and Cash Handling. Does this position have supervisory responsibilities?
