We are searching for a RN- RESOURCE NURSE to perform a variety of duties involving the coordination of both clinical and non- clinical care activities including but not limited to staff assignments, staffing levels, etc. Provide guidance, support and coordinate orientation of all new staff members. Provide clinical and leadership direction for assigned personnel and activity on various hospital nursing unit.

• Coordinate staff assignments for shift.
• Provide consultation and assist other staff in complex patient-care situation
• Coordinate unit-based performance improvement activities.
• Assist with mentoring/precepting of staff and oversee unit-based education

Atwood 4 is a 47 bed medical telemetry nursing unit. The patient population consists of individuals with multiple medical problems including, but not limited to: sepsis, stroke, seizures, NSTEMI's, heart failure, COPD, atrial fibrillation, and acute/chronic kidney disease. The goal of Atwood 4 is to provide comprehensive and collaborate patient care by skilled health care providers to optimize patient care and quality of life, while striving to deliver excellence in patient satisfaction. Location: Charlton Memorial Hospital - Fall River, MA

Hours: 36hrs (Modified Full Time)

Shift: EVE/NIGHT, 7:15pm - 7:15am with weekend and holiday rotation



Education and/or Experience Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or equivalent is required.
• A minimum of three years clinical experience in an appropriate setting is required.
• Current RN Licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.

Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and Covid-19 and provide required vaccination documentation, unless approved for an exemption or deferral by Southcoast prior to starting employment.
