SUMMARY

The Graphic Designer creates digital and print creative assets for internal and external stakeholders. The Designer works closely with the Creative Services leadership, Project Management, and Brand Marketing teams to ensure end products meet the needs and objects of the business.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Utilize talent, skill and expertise to design and layout creative marketing materials for a variety of digital and print applications including but not limited to flyers, brochures, tickets, billboards, large scale signage, logos, social, display ads, and emails
  • Manage, maintain, and optimize a collection of creative materials, including photography, logos and creative assets
  • Ensure the look and feel of each deliverable aligns with brand standards, working with Creative Services leadership and Brand Marketing to ensure alignment with brand guides
  • Create collateral efficiently, using time management skills to prioritize projects appropriately
  • Communicate effectively with team members to maintain a collaborative work environment
  • Manage assigned projects; utilize project management software to balance workload, route creative projects for approval and ensure assigned deadlines are met
  • Create source files which are optimized for cross-collaboration or team sharing with clean file/folder management
  • Contribute to team culture by maintaining positive relationships with internal and external teams
  • Travel: less than 5%

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university and five years' experience and/or training in graphic design or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers and employees of organization.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common factions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Intimate knowledge and experience working with Macintosh platforms, Adobe Creative Cloud applications (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Workfront (or other trafficking software) and Acrobat Professional.
  • Cross platform knowledge between Mac and PC, including a strong command of Microsoft office applications.
