The Naval Nuclear Laboratory comprises the U.S. Department of Energy locations and personnel responsible for developing advanced naval nuclear propulsion technology, providing technical support to ensure the safety and reliability of our nation's naval nuclear reactors, and training the Sailors who operate those reactors in the U.S. Navy's submarines and aircraft carrier Fleets. Come grow with our Project! The S1B Reactor Plant System's team is looking for a Intermediate or Advanced Engineer to join their team. The successful candidate will support/lead S1B reactor plant systems efforts as the project heads towards construction and testing. Broaden your technical base by working in a dynamic environment to develop integrated solutions to design and construction issues. Interface with multiple internal and external organizations, BPMI, the design shipyard, and Naval Reactors personnel. Specific reactor plant system design efforts include:
