If that sounds fulfilling to you, MHS may be the perfect place for your next career move. We are currently seeking Per-Diem Registered School Nurses (PRNs) to join the growing . The Health Center is staffed by Registered Nurses, Physicians, Certified Nursing & Medical Assistants and Staff Assistants that provides comprehensive health care to students from lower income families in an infirmary (40 beds) for ill, injured or postoperative students, as well as mental wellness services. The PRNs work a minimum of 5 hours per week and two 12-hour weekend shifts in a 4-week scheduling period. Hourly pay rate: $40.00 - $47.00 depending on the shift scheduled. Part-time employees do not receive benefits. Qualifications PA Registered Nurse License required, Bachelor's degree in nursing, preferred. Minimum of two years nursing experience, physical assessment, primary pediatric, school health and/or emergency nursing, and counseling skills. Valid license to practice as a registered nurse in PA, required. Valid PA Driver's license in good standing. Ability and willingness to be flexible regarding the work schedule is essential. Current CPR certification and advanced first aid training. School Nurse Certification a plus. Candidates must demonstrate high level of integrity, as all MHS Staff are considered to be role models for the MHS Students.
