Interested in a career with both meaning and growth? Whether your abilities are in direct patient care or one of the many other areas of healthcare administration and support, everyone at Parkland works together to fulfill our mission: the health and well-being of individuals and communities entrusted to our care. By joining Parkland, you become part of a diverse healthcare legacy that's served our community for more than 125 years. Put your skills to work with us, seek opportunities to learn and join a talented team where patient care is more than a job. It's our passion. What it is like to work in CT at Parkland Hospital? It's amazing. The new Parkland Hospital opened in 2017. Our facility is a world class, state of the art acute care hospital, a Level I trauma center, a high volume, high acuity urban hospital, that provides 24 hour care each and every day. CT is a 24/7 operation so there is limited on-call. Our in and outpatient CT departments, and all our radiology teams, are supported by dedicated patient transporting teams as well as specialty IV teams, so you focus on scanning. Our newest team members, regardless of prior experience, complete a thorough and carefully mentored 16 week orientation program. This structured introduction to Parkland sets new CT team members up for success and prepares them to successfully perform all procedures following Parkland's protocols, quality standards and providers' expectations. We are a teaching hospital, and you will work closely with physicians. We are serviced by an on Campus DART line stop that is steps from the front doors of both the acute care hospital and outpatient center (Parkland subsidizes DART passes). We also offer $10k sign on incentives, free covered parking, tuition reimbursement, a generous retirement savings plan, DAY ONE medical insurance, adoption/IVF assistance, pet insurance, and many MORE generous benefits! Education * Graduate of an accredited Radiology and/or Computed Tomography (CT) Program. Experience * Prefer two (2) years of experience performing Radiology procedures. * Equivalent education that is recognized and accepted by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) to be eligible to sit for the ARRT(R) and advanced ARRT credential exams. Certification/Registration/Licensure
