POSITION SUMMARY Mon-Fri, 4pm-12am shifts The Nursing Supervisor works under the direction of the Director of Nursing in defining plans, implements, and monitors patient care delivery, fiscal management, unit based human resource management and departmental operations for defined care area(s). Takes a leadership role in developing policy and standards for patient care services. This position requires providing service to all age populations in a manner that demonstrates an understanding of the functional/developmental age of the individual served. QualificationsQUALIFICATIONS
Education: Graduate from an accredited program of professional nursing required. Bachelor's Degree preferred.
Experience: A minimum of five (5) years experience as a registered nurse in a psychiatric health care facility preferred. A minimum of two years management/administrative/leadership in a nursing role preferred. Experience in nursing management preferred. Previous fiscal and supervisory experience preferred. Basic computer literacy (word processing, spreadsheet) required.
Licensure: Currently licensed to practice by the State Board of Nursing. Must have a valid driver's license. |
