CNC Machinist

Qualifications:

• Have experience, or equivalent experience, with HAAS and/or Fidel CNC machines
• Experienced with general machine operation
• Excellent attendance and reliability
• Demonstrated successes in the areas of both safety and quality of work
• The ability to read blueprints

Essential Functions:

• Machining: Ability to use different types of machinery to cut and form metal sheets for production.
• Blue Prints: Capable of reading and understanding blueprints, job orders & drawings, and following the directions of the above listed.
• Other tasks: Other manufacturing procedures the employee will be asked to perform include cutting, burning, grinding, sanding & drilling.
• Employees in this position may be asked from time to time to assist in other means of production and are not limited to the processes listed above. If employees are asked to perform other duties other than the above listed, proper training will be provided before the employee is to perform the specific task.

Physical Requirements:

• Employee must be able to stand for at least 8 to 10 hours per day without the feeling of fatigue.
• Employee must be able to lift at least 50 pounds.
• Employee must have the ability to use machinery in an appropriate manner.
• Employee must be able to use both hands to control equipment and material used in the production process.

Special Skills/Knowledge:

• Knowledge & training on all equipment and tools used to perform the task at hand
• Ability to read and understand blueprints, drawings & job orders
• Basic computer knowledge to clock job time in the Made 2 Manage system
