Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist Location: Tallahassee, FL Schedule/Shift: Friday, Saturday, Sunday, 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM Pay: $1,540 - $1,684 per week Duration: 13 weeks Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Tallahassee, FL. The CT Technologist will perform diagnostic CT imaging procedures while ensuring patient safety, image quality, and compliance with established healthcare standards. This position requires proficiency with Client CT equipment, strong technical skills, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a hospital environment. Job Responsibilities Perform diagnostic CT scans according to physician orders and established imaging protocols. Operate Client VCT 64-slice and Client Optima 16-slice CT scanners. Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures while ensuring comfort and safety. Evaluate images for diagnostic quality and accuracy. Follow radiation safety protocols and maintain appropriate patient protection measures. Document imaging procedures and patient information using Meditech and Client Centricity systems. Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to support patient care. Maintain CT equipment and report technical or operational concerns. Follow hospital policies, infection prevention procedures, and established quality standards. Job Requirements Previous experience performing CT imaging procedures in a hospital or acute care setting. Proficiency in operating CT imaging equipment and performing diagnostic scans. American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Computed Tomography (CT) required. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required. Knowledge of CT imaging protocols, radiation safety, and patient positioning. Ability to work independently while maintaining accuracy and patient safety. Strong communication and organizational skills. Experience with Client CT equipment preferred. Familiarity with Meditech and Client Centricity preferred.
